    This entry-level certification is designed for individuals with little to no cybersecurity experience and serves as a foundational milestone in their professional journey. The exam simulates real-world scenarios to assess practical skills in:

    Host and network auditing
    Host and network penetration testing
    Web application penetration testing

    This exam serves an entry point to Red Team certifications with INE Security. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience to demonstrate their mastery in the real world and continue their journey by taking INE Security’s Certified Professional Penetration Tester (eCPPT) certification.

    • Compile information from files on target
    • Enumerate network information from files on target
    • Enumerate system information on target
    • Gather user account information on target
    • Transfer files to and from target
    • Gather hash/password information from target

    Web Application Penetration Testing (15%)

    • Identify vulnerabilities in web applications
    • Locate hidden file and directories
    • Conduct brute-force login attack
    • Conduct web application reconnaissance
