    A basic understanding of common network applications is critical to anyone pursuing a Cisco certification, or simply with a desire to work as a Network Administrator. This course is designed for those studying for their ICND1 (CCENT) exam who have little-to-no experience with common network applications. In this course you'll learn:<br> <br> <br>-Overview of TCP and UDP operations and differences. <br>-Details of DNS Operations <br>-Defining Peer-to-Peer, Client-Server, Standalone, and Web-Based Applications <br>-Overview of how email works including descriptions of SMTP, POP3 and IMAP differences. <br>-How does Web browsing work and what are the differences between HTTP and HTML? <br>-What is Telnet, why do we use it and how does it work?
