    Traffic Analysis with Netflow

    What about this course?

SNMP is a great tool for obtaining statistics about your network such as packet counts, interface status and overall device health. But SNMP falls short if one desires visibility into more granular detail about the type of data flowing through your network. NetFlow was introduced by Cisco to solve that problem. In this course, you’ll learn how NetFlow is able to sort data flowing through an interface into unique flows, obtain statistics about those flows, and export those flows to a NetFlow Collector. You’ll learn about the fundamental concepts behind NetFlow such as NetFlow Records, NetFlow Cache, NetFlow Monitors, and NetFlow Exporters. You’ll learn how to configure NetFlow using both Original and Flexible NetFlow IOS commands. And you’ll learn how to restrict the quantity of data collected by NetFlow by using optional NetFlow Samplers and Input Filters. If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about NetFlow and how it works, this is the course for you!
