Resiliency in AWS

What about this course?

Resiliency is how we design systems to handle disruptions, scale to meet demand, and mitigate transient issues. AWS provides architects, engineers, and developers with fantastic services to increase the resiliency of IT solutions. And that’s what we dive into in INE’s “Resiliency in AWS” course. In this course, resiliency is viewed as a spectrum from highly available, scaling architectures to disaster recovery scenarios. To do this, you will study: -An overview of what resiliency is and how we can measure it -Types of scaling and how you can monitor it in AWS -Leveraging AWS infrastructure to build resilient architectures (AWS Regions & availability zones) -AWS Auto Scaling -Elastic Load Balancing -The “how and when” of data replication -Backup and recovery solutions with AWS Backup, AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery service, and Amazon S3 Glacier -The practicals of disaster recovery ...and more. The course includes several labs to get you up to speed with these technologies. So whether you are building a simple web server, a geography-spanning network, or figuring out how to plan for disaster, this course is for you.
