    Computer security incident response has become an essential component of information technology (IT) programs. Because performing incident response effectively is a complex undertaking, establishing a successful incident response capability requires substantial planning and resources. Incident Response (IR) is a critical facet of any information security program. Preventive security controls have proven unable to eliminate the possibility that necessary data could be compromised. With more and more companies making a move to Cloud, the effects of what was once completed, deployed, and staged at a local Data Center Infrastructure will make for a very different layout for Cloud Deployments and Cloud Providers Infrastructure. This course seeks to identify gaps pertinent to Incident Response created by the unique characteristics of Cloud Computing.
