Why INE: See how INE is Aligning with Cisco’s Roadmap

Cisco recently released its Certification Roadmap, and we thought we’d take a moment to show you how INE is aligning our content to sync up with the roadmap and ensure you are fully prepped for your exam.

According to Cisco, the roadmap “offers a holistic framework that gives you the updated blueprint and exam information across all Cisco certifications.” Cisco says its goal is to give students greater clarity and transparency and ensure the Cisco material is updated, relevant, and aligns with technology shifts and industry movements.

We sat down with Networking gurus Brian McGahan and Rohit Pardasani for an in-depth dive into the roadmap. “The roadmap allows us to schedule courses in advance to make sure our students have access to the latest hands-on material to practice for the new technologies,” said Brian.

“The biggest advantage INE has is that all our courses are hands-on,” said Rohit. “Anyone preparing for CCIE needs to practice hands-on skills, and that’s where INE comes in. Our cloud-based lab platform gives students the edge when it comes to actually practicing what they are learning before being tested on it.”

Cisco will conduct an annual evaluation of each technology vertical and will update each technology track at the same time each year based on those evaluations. The Cisco Certification Roadmap includes three distinct stages: Review, Announce, and Publish. You can read more about the process here

Brian and Rohit broke down the roadmap, and how INE courses over the coming year will align directly with that roadmap:

Publish - DevNet and CyberOps

INE Response:

INE will release a new DevNet course in Q4 and continue to update that content as the Cisco blueprint evolves.

Cisco Roadmap:

Feb-Apr 2024

Review - Service Provider and CCNA

Announce - Security and Enterprise

Publish - Data Center and Collaboration

INE Response:

INE will release new courses for CCNP Collaboration in early 2024.

“The roadmap helps students stay ahead of the curve and know the definition of what they need to learn from the topic list,” said Rohit.

“The key differentiator you get training with INE is the hands-on labs,” added Brian. “We’ve always been laser-focused on the practical aspect of training, and our labs allow students to really get in and get the practice they need to pass the exams.”

We’ll keep you posted on updates from our end, as we continue to monitor Cisco’s roadmap! Want to try our hands-on lab? Check out Lab Demo, where you can test drive real INE labs from our Networking, Cybersecurity, and Cloud learning paths.
