New Course on Operating Networks With QoS is Here
In INE's new course, Enhancing Network Operations with QoS, expert instructor Keith Bogart introduces students to Quality of Service (QoS).Computer networks are constantly in a state of flux. Their links can be perfectly fine one moment, and the next moment congested and dropping packets. For this reason, Quality of Service (QoS) as a set of features is mandatory, allowing you to manage these times of congestion.
This is an introductory course into the work of QoS. In this course, you'll learn about what makes buffers different than queues and how QoS gives you control over queues. You'll also be exposed to the concept of QoS classification and how this can be done at either Layer-2 or Layer-3 of the OSI model. And you'll learn about many other QoS concepts such as Policing, Shaping, Scheduling, and Queuing.
