Introducing INE Fundamentals

⁠The INE Starter Pass was a first-of-its-kind, free educational resource for entry-level IT learners around the world. After being available for just 18 months, it helped more than 150,000 students on their journey to becoming highly-skilled and trained experts. 

In the 18 months since the Starter Pass launched, we’ve released several other resources to help learners on their journey to become experts in their field. This includes:
- ⁠INE Cloud Fundamentals Learning Path - Featuring more than 10 hours of instructional content, 33 videos, 23 quizzes, and 3 labs, this learning path covers general concepts and foundational cloud skills for supporting public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- ⁠INE Certified Cloud Associate Certification (ICCA) - The first of many INE-branded certifications to come, the ICCA breaks down the silos of other Cloud providers and provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed in the multicloud sphere with an emphasis on real-world application and scenario-based questions.

INE Fundamentals
INE Fundamentals is an exclusive new plan with two affordable price options for you to choose from, designed specifically for entry-level technology professionals and learners. With more than 200 hours of Cyber Security, Networking, Cloud, and Data Science content, 600+ videos, as well as hundreds of quizzes and labs, this new plan provides students with everything they need to get their start in the IT field.

Whether you’re looking to switch careers, gain more formal IT education, or just want to learn for fun, the INE Fundamentals plan gives you access to the industry’s most comprehensive and affordable training resources the market has to offer at two unbeatable prices.

What’s Included
The INE Fundamentals plan will be available for purchase in May 2022 and will include two different purchase options.

The first purchasing option is the INE Fundamentals monthly plan, and for the incredibly low price of just $39 per month, you’ll gain access to:
- ⁠CCNA Learning Path - 8 sections, 29 courses, 398 videos, 249 quizzes, 3 labs, 145 hours of content
- Getting Started In Networking - 8 sections, 8 courses, 116 videos, 67 quizzes, 7 labs, 62 hours of content
- INE Certified Cloud Associate (ICCA) - 2 sections, 3 courses, 33 videos, 23 quizzes, 3 labs, 10.5 hours of content
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) - 2 sections, 4 courses, 62 videos, 39 quizzes, 21 labs, 28.5 hours of content
- First Steps in Data Science with Python - 1 section, 3 courses, 7 videos, 5 quizzes, 3 labs, 13 exercises, 9 hours of content
- Pentester Student v2 (Coming Soon!) - 90 hours of content

The second purchasing option is the INE Fundamentals Annual Plan which is available for $299 per year - a $150 savings compared to the monthly plan! This plan includes access to everything available as part of the Monthly Plan, in addition to your choice of a free ICCA or eJPT certification voucher!

What’s Changing
With the release of the new INE Fundamentals plans, several changes are being made to our current offerings. Learn more about the upcoming changes below.
- ⁠Starter Pass - At the launch of INE Fundamentals, Starter Pass will no longer be available. Existing Starter Pass users will maintain acceess to their current content through December 31, 2022 or three months after the release of eJPTv2, which ever comes later. New users who want trial access to INE will have tha ability to sign up for a 7-day trial.
- ⁠INE Monthly Plan - Similar to the Starter Pass, the Monthly Plan will no longer be available once INE Fundamentals has been launched. Current Monthly Plan users will be able to continue using their plan, but will not have lab access.
- INE Annual Plan - The Annual Plan will become unavailable upon the release of INE Fundamentals. Existing users will have the option to upgrade to INE Premium for $749.
- INE Premium - INE Premium will still be available, and new users will receive one free certification attempt as part of their subscription.

Additional Releases
INE Fundamentals isn’t the only change coming to INE! We have also released a new version of Pentester Student, known as Pentester Fundamentals, and will be releasing an updated version of the eJPT training. Pentester Fundamentals includes more than 90 hours of new Cyber Security content and new browser-based labs. eJPT v2 will feature hands-on lab testing with auto grading features so you know exactly what you've mastered and what areas you may want to spend more time with. New, updated content will also be included in the certification prep so you can keep up with penetration testing best practices and trending challenges.

Why is INE introducing new subscription plans?
After providing 18 months of free training material and helping more than 150k individuals get started in IT, INE has grown in terms of content and quality. Our best-in-class training has become more in-depth and hands-on, so we have released new plans to accommodate this growth.

What is happening to the Starter Pass plan?
Our Starter Pass program has come to an end effective May 19, 2022. Existing Starter Pass users will maintain acceess to their current content through December 31, 2022 or three months after the release of eJPTv2, which ever comes later. New users will have an option to sign up for a 7-day free trial.

Will my Monthly plan be changing?
Similar to the Starter Pass, the Monthly Plan will no longer be available for purchase once INE Fundamentals has been launched. Current Monthly Plan users will be able to continue using their plan, but will not have lab access.

What will change with my current Annual plan?
Annual plans holders will be automatically upgraded to Premium at no additional cost in the weeks following the release of the fundamentals pass. This has already been completed and will have no additional cost for the remainder of your original annual subscription time frame. You will renew at $749 on your subscription renewal date.

Is anything changing with INE Premium?
INE Premium will continue to be available at the $749 price point with access to our entire content library.
