If you are venturing into the world of Wi-Fi for the first time, this course will expose you to some of the fundamental concepts surrounding this technology.
INE instructor Keith Bogart teaches Wi-Fi Fundamental Principles. Students will learn the answers to many questions concerning Wi-Fi. What exactly is Radio Frequency and how can it encode data? What is modulation in the context of Wi-Fi? What aspects of an RF signal can be modulated?Students will also learn about the concept of Wi-Fi channels and how to design a network by implementing non-overlapping channels. Additionally, students will learn about SSID, what it is, and why it is a critical component to joining any Wi-Fi network.
