In this course, the learner will be introduced to one of the most popular applications of MPLS: MPLS L3 VPN. This course will cover the configuration basics of Virtual Routing & Forwarding (VRF), PE-CE routing protocol configuration and semantics using eBGP, OSPFv2, the OSPF sham link, down bit, and domain tag values, EIGRP, the BGP cost community, EIGRP Site of Origin (SoO), RIPv2, and static routes. All course simulations are done using Cisco's Virtual Internet Routing Lab (VIRL) software and all configurations are available in both text files and original VIRL .virl format.
