Host & Network Penetration Testing: Social Engineering

    What about this course?

This course covers Social Engineering fundamentals and introductory tactics, techniques, and procedures. Here in this course, you will learn about the basics of attacks against individuals and organizations utilizing human psychology, emotions, and manipulation. Individuals are the most difficult node to strengthen in an enterprise network. With all the greatest technology and defenses in place, a user can still compromise a system with poor practices or accidental mistakes. Malicious actors take advantage of this weakness and it ends up being one of the most effective means of infiltrating an organization. In order to defend against this threat, penetration testers must identify the vulnerability and the potential blast radius of such an attack. You will learn to identify and wield these techniques and tools as a penetration tester.
